Based in Los Angeles and first formed in 1985, the Television Publicity Executives Committee (TPEC) includes senior-level publicity executives who represent original, prime time television programming. TPEC serves as a forum for the discussion of publicity-related matters common to the membership; works to improve the relationship between reporters and publicists; and, strives to be one of the foremost sources of information for college students seeking careers in publicity.
Each year, TPEC produces the TPEC Guide: The Essential Reference Directory for Television and Entertainment Publicists. The 2008 guide is nearly sold out. The 2009 guide will be available in January. |
